Prepared for Thinking
An environment intentionally prepared for thinking, discovering, and solving. Rich Montessori-aligned materials fill the space for use in a child's academic endeavors - more than math and reading, the sciences, earth studies, and cultural explorations are all represented.
For Practice and Mastery
Self-directed learning is supported and intentionally taught. Students work on the concepts they need until mastery is achieved. Calm, structured work cycles ensure student work is appropriately challenging and has an appropriate duration.
To Reflect and Grow
Materials are designed to provide immediate academic feedback as students work. Concepts are placed on shelves by rigor, so growth can be easily seen as new materials become open to student use, leading to positive and constructive conversations about growth.
What is an “Academic Studio”?
An academic studio is a prepared learning environment designed to support focused, independent work. Just as an art studio provides tools for artists, Knowble Studios provides carefully selected academic materials, structured routines, and guided support so students can build confidence and mastery across subjects.
We don’t replace school. We upgrade the learning environment.
Is this tutoring?
No.
Tutoring typically focuses on reteaching specific content or helping complete assignments. At Knowble Studios, we focus on building independence, executive function, and academic confidence.
Students use purposeful materials, follow structured work cycles, and receive guidance — not step-by-step answers.
Is this a daycare?
No.
Knowble Studios is an academic studio, not a childcare center. Our space is designed for focused academic work.
Our community lounge may include a small toddler area for parent convenience, but we do not provide childcare services.
Can parents stay?
Yes! Parents may choose to work alongside their student or use our community lounge while their student works.
You also have the option to drop off your student (if age appropriate and approved). Our flexible model supports modern family needs.
What ages do you serve?
We currently serve lower elementary students, grades 1st through 3rd. We have some materials for kindergarten, 4th, and 5th grade students.
Middle School and High School studio spaces are planned for future expansions, so stay on our mailing list!
Is Knowble Studios a Montessori school?
We are Montessori-aligned.
We use proven Montessori materials, principles, and structured work cycles to support independent learning. We also have Montessori certified educators. However, we are not a traditional Montessori school. We are an academic studio designed to complement a student’s primary schooling or homeschool experience.
Do students attend instead of school?
No.
Students attend school (public, private, or homeschool) as usual. The studio supports academic growth, executive function, and independent work habits outside of or alongside their primary education.
Important note: Homeschool parents are invited to use the Montessori curriculum design alongside the materials, but we do replace schooling.
How is this different from a homework club?
Homework clubs focus on task completion. We prioritize growth over rushing to finish assignments.
